With summer just around the corner, residents in the area around Plano and Allen are beginning to take getting into shape more seriously. In fact, just the thought of squeezing into skimpier summer clothing has caused many concerned citizens in Plano and Allen to call Light It Up Electric because of a treadmill tripping breaker. Light It Up Electric proudly serves Oak Point and Providence Village, TX. We have a customer in Oak Point that had a problem with a plug / outlet in the bathroom that was not working correctly. The Oak point customer also wanted to convert the plugs / outlet in the kitchen from a regular plug / outlet to GFI outlet / plug, and install a recessed plug / outlet for and mount a flat panel TV in the living room.

The customer that lives in Providence Village was having problems with her smoke detectors not working properly. She had smoke fill her house due to burning dinner and none of the smoke detectors went off. So we replaced all the batteries in the smoke detectors and now they are working like they should. A customer in Allen had a door bell that was not working.  They tried to fix the problem themselves but were unable to.  So they called us out to take a look at it.  Once the electrician got to the home he found that the transformer was defective.  Once the electrician replaced the transformer everything worked fine.

While the Allen home owner had the electrician there he has us look at an outlet / plug not working.  The electrician was able to fix the outlet / plug and gave the home owner an estimate to install recessed can lights in the kitchen.

A customer in Plano wanted to have 2 security lights installed on both sides of his garage.   There was no power at these location so the Plano home owner didn’t know what to do.

He called us out to install the 2 security light fixture for him.  The electrician was able to pull power from an outlet in the area for the light fixtures.  The electrician installed an electrical box, all electrical wiring, and then installed the security light fixture.  While the electrician was there the Plano resident also had some new outlets / plugs installed, a new pull chain light fixture installed in a closet, and a dimmer to control the living room lights.
