All smoke alarms should be tested at least once a month to make sure they operate properly. If a smoke alarm is battery operated, replace the batteries at least once a year to make sure the alarm will work when it is needed. We were called by one of our commercial customers in Little Elm because their building had no power to it. Todd found that a fuse had been blown out. After replacing the fuse, everything is working great.
