A customer of ours that lives in the Plano area bought a new ceiling fan to go in her living room.  The new ceiling fan was replacing the existing fan that came with the house when it was built.  After the electrician took down the existing fan he checked the electrical wiring and fan box in the ceiling. The wiring for the ceiling fan was ok, but the fan box needed to be replaced.  The existing fan box was not properly installed and bad been broken.  The electrician took out the broken fan box and installed a new fan box. Once the new fan box was installed and secured in the ceiling, the electrician then mounted the fan.  After the fan was installed he balanced it to make sure that it worked properly.  The customer also wanted a new fan dimmer switch installed.  With the switch that we installed our customer is able to turn the light on / off or dim it to the light level that she want.  She is also able to control the fan speed with the new switch as well.  If you have a ceiling fan or a new switch that needs to be installed, give us a call.  We can get all your electrical needs taken care of fast and safely.  We are licensed and insured.  We service Plano, Frisco, McKinney and all surrounding areas.

An existing customer in Plano called us out to install 2 new ceiling fans that he had purchased.  One of the ceiling fan went into the living room and was replacing the existing ceiling fan that was already there.  While the electrician had the existing ceiling fan down he checked all the wiring and the box located in the ceiling for safety.  Once everything check out safe he then installed the new ceiling fan.  After the ceiling fan was installed he balanced it and made sure the fan and light kit was working properly.  The other fan went into the game room.  The game room did not have the wiring for a ceiling fan or a switch to control the fan or the light on the fan..  The electrician had to run power up in the walls and  across the ceiling to get the power to the location that the customer wanted to have the ceiling fans installed. He also had to run the wiring to the location that the customer wanted the switch that would control the fan and light kit on the fan. He was able to run the wiring with out making big holes in the dry wall.  Once the wiring was in place he installed a box in the ceiling to support the weight of the ceiling fan.  Once the ceiling fans was all wired up be balanced it and made sure that the fan and light kit worked properly.  He then installed 2 switches.  One to control the fan speeds and the other was a dimmer for the light kit.  All the work that was done has a one year warranty.

If you need to have a ceiling fan installed, give us a call.  We can do a safety check on all the wiring and box that supports the ceiling fan and get the fan installed.  It is always a good idea to have a licensed electrician install the ceiling fan for you.  He would be able to spot possible problems that could save you from damaging your home or your new ceiling fans.  Call today for a free estimate – 469-261-1503

A customer in Celina went out and bought a bunch of new light fixtures for her house and wanted us to install them all.  She bought new light fixtures for the front entry, family room, bathrooms, stair well, and office.  she also bought light fixtures to go on each side of her garage.

The Family Room – The electrician installed a ceiling fan and some directional recessed can lights that shine down on the mantle above the fire place.

Front Entry – The electrician took down the existing chandelier, checked all the wiring and suport box.  Every checked out safe so he mounted the chandelier.

Bathroom – The customer wanted all vanity lights in all the bathrooms replace with the new ones.  Once the electrician took down the existing vanity light he checked the safty of the wiring and support box before installing the new vanity light.

Stair Well – This part was a bit harder because there was no existing light fixture.  The electrician consulted with the Celina home owner about where she wanted each light to be installed.  Once the electrician got a clear picture of what the customer wanted he was able to run a dedicated circuit to the stair well area to feed the new wall sconces.  The electrician had to run the wiring in the wall to each location.  Then he installed a support box in the wall to mount the light fixture to and installed the light fixtures.  To also had to install a switch to control  the new light fixtures.

The Office – The electrician install a new ceiling fan and a new fan control switch.  With the new switch she can control the fan speed and the light kit sepratly.

Garage – The customer wanted to have big coach light fixture installed on both sides of the garage of her Celina home.  There were no existing light fixtures or power already there so the electrician ran a dedicated circuit across the attic to the location of where she wanted the coach lights to be installed.  The electrician installed all the wiring, installed both coach light fixtures and had to also install a switch to control the new light fixtures.

A customer of ours that does back yard patio cover and kitchens called us out to a project of his in Carrollton.  He was turning a plain back yard into an out door kitchen with a little side area for a small table, chairs and fire place.  The customer wanted custom lighting for their new out door area.  We met with the customer to get a better feel of what they were wanting.  We installed 4 down lights that were mounted on each column.  We also installed a ceiling fan and some under cabinet light under the edge of their new BBQ area.  Along with the light fixtures we installed dimmer switches to control each area of lighting.  The columns were put on their own switch, the ceiling fan had it own switch and so did the under cabinet lighting.  We also ran speaker wires for future speakers.  The home owner later called us back out to install a plug and run all the wiring for the flat panel TV he wanted us to hang.  We work with the arbor builder during the building process so that we can hide the wiring and conduit.  Anything that was not hid by the arbor was painted to match the color of the wood.  The customer is very happy with the was his new arbor has turned out.  If you have any landscape, arbor or patio lighting or electrical that you need to have done, give us a call.  The estimate is free.  We also service the Plano, Frisco, McKinney areas

Light Fixtures Installed In Frisco

An customer in Frisco that has been using our company for many years now called us out because she purchased 2 new ceiling fans, 1 pendent light fixture, and a new chandelier for the dinning room that she wanted us to install for her.  The two ceiling fans were replacing 2 existing ceiling fans that came with the house.  Once the electrician got the existing ceiling fans down he checked the wiring and electrical box in the ceiling for any possible problems or defects. Once the electrician determined that the wiring and box was safe he installed the ceiling fans, balanced and checked that both ceiling fan and light kits were working properly.

The customer wanted the pendent light fixture to be installed over the island in the kitchen.  There was no existing light fixture there so the electrician had to run power across the ceiling to the proper location over the island.  The electrician then installed a box to support the weight of the pendent light fixture and mounted the pendent light fixture to the box that is now secure in the ceiling.  After the light fixture was installed he made sure that is worked properly.

The new chandelier went into the dinning room.  Once the electrician took down the existing chandelier he checked the existing wiring and box.  It was at this point that he noticed a small nick in the wiring going to the chandelier and that the box was missing 2 supporting screws that held the box in the ceiling, and that the existing box in the ceiling was not able to support the extra weight of the new bigger chandelier.  He took out the box and installed a new box with better support to handle the extra weight of the new chandelier.  The electrician also cut the part of the wiring that had the kick in it and wired up the chandelier.  Once the chandelier was installed he checked to make sure that it work properly.

The small nick in the wiring and undersized support box in the ceiling are great reasons for you to have a licensed electrician install your ceiling fans, light fixtures and chandelier.  These are small items that could be easily over looked but have big consequences.  The nick in the wiring could cause the breakerthe chandelier is on to trip or the chandelier could flicker when on.  This could also damage the light fixture.  The under sized box would not have held the weight of the chandelier thus causing it to fall out of the ceiling onto the floor or table that is under it.  All of our work comes with a one year guarantee.  Call us today to safely install all your chandeliers, ceiling fans, and pendent light fixtures.  We also give free estimates.  Call Today – 469-261-1503
